Welcome to Nitea

Nitea is a small library you bundle in your NeoForge, Forge or Fabric mod. It reports the errors, uncaught exceptions and crashes your mod causes to your dashboard, groups them into issues, and lets players send bug reports and suggestions that you can show on a public roadmap.

Each guide takes you from nothing to your first reported error in about five minutes.

Why Nitea​

  • Free for mod developers, with no paid tier and no limit on the number of mods.
  • Opt-in only. Nothing is sent until the player says yes. Nitea asks once, for every mod using it.
  • A library, not a mod. However many mods bundle it, the game has one Nitea: one consent screen, one settings file.
  • Only your bugs. Your mod only receives the errors and crashes its own code caused, never another mod's.
  • Anonymous. No usernames, player UUIDs or IP addresses. Ever.
  • Never blocks the game. Events are sent from a background thread and rate limited.
  • No dependencies. Not even Fabric API.
