Performance
Performance compares the versions of a mod, so you can tell whether an update made things better or worse.
Latest version
The top row compares the latest version with the one before it:
| Metric | What it counts |
|---|---|
| Issues | Distinct errors and crashes seen on the version |
| Crashes | Issues that crashed the game |
| Crash rate | Of the installations that reported an issue on the version, the share that crashed |
| New issues | Issues first seen on this version |
Each shows the change from the previous version, in green when it's better and red when it's worse.
Every version
The chart shows, for each version, the issues it carried over from earlier versions and the ones it introduced. The table below adds:
- Gone: issues of the previous version that didn't happen on this one, most likely fixed.
- Affected installs: installations that reported an error or crash on the version.
- Share: the version's part of all error and crash events.
- Player reports: bug reports and suggestions sent from the version. They don't count as issues here.
The most stable version has the lowest crash rate among versions with at least 5 affected installations. Versions older than the latest are marked in red. Click a version to see its issues.
What the numbers mean
Nitea only hears from installations that run into an issue: it doesn't know how many players run each version. Rates are therefore among affected installations, not all players. They compare versions fairly, but they aren't a crash-free rate.
Which version is the latest comes from your linked GitHub repository, or without one from the versions your mod reported.
