What a report contains
- What went wrong: the exception, stack trace and message
- What your mod recorded: breadcrumbs and tags
- The game setup: Minecraft, loader, Java and OS versions, CPU architecture and cores, maximum memory, client or server
- A random installation ID, only while the player allows reporting, used to count how many players an issue affects
What it never contains
Nitea never collects usernames, player UUIDs, IP addresses or chat.
warning
Keep it that way in what you send. Never put personal data in messages, breadcrumbs, tags or exception messages you create. Player bug reports and suggestions contain only what the player chose to write.
Players stay in control
- Nothing is sent until the player chooses Allow reports. See Player consent.
- Players can opt out at any time from the Nitea button on the title screen. The installation ID is deleted.
- Players can turn off a single mod with
<modid>.enabled=falseinconfig/nitea/nitea.properties.
